The Plan Quality Tourism is a national approach of quality introduced by the Ministry of Tourism, which aims at federating and at putting in coherence all the rigorous quality approaches identified in the sector of the tourism.

The national brand " Quality Tourism " is attributed to companies or to networks respecting five essential criteria :
  • Answer the national commitments of the mark(brand);
  • Have a quality approach with external control;
  • Be in compliance with the statutory classification of the activity;
  • Be in compliance with the rules of hygiene and safety;
  • Assure a treatment of the complaints of the customers.
Thanks to this initiative, the tourist will be capable of identifying the people working in the tourist industry guaranteeing the quality checked by their services.

Since 2008, the Regional Committee of the Tourism, in close collaboration with the Region Languedoc-Roussillon, set up a device quality regional with its own reference table, based on an external audit and a system of treatment of the satisfaction and the complaints customers.
